SEC Summer Summit Picnic Set For June 8

Mizzou 2013 SEC East Division Trophy

Join Southeastern Conference leaders and standouts at a family-friendly picnic celebrating the conference that produced six of the past seven college football champions.

The Mizzou Tiger Club and Mizzou Alumni Association will host the SEC Summer Summit Picnic at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at DeSmet High School in Creve Coeur, Mo.

Mizzou Football has made quite the name for itself in its first years as a member of the conference, winning the SEC East in 2013 and being the only SEC football program to rank among the top-10 nationally in APR in each of the past two seasons.

Mizzou fans can enjoy food trucks, carnival games, sno-cone stands, kettle corn, face painting, inflatables, and a beverage tent.

Mizzou Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin and SEC Commissioner Mike Slive will speak with fans. Former LSU All-American defensive end and SEC Network analyst Marcus Spears will be in attendance as well.

Admission for the picnic is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
