- Caught a 5-yard TD pass from QB Donovan McNabb at SD (11/15)
- Caught a 23-yard pass for a touchdown from QB Donovan McNabb vs. NYG (11/1)
- Led the team with six catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns vs. TB (10/11), and became the first Eagles rookie with two 40- plus-yard touchdown catches in a game (51, 40). His 142 yards was the third-highest total ever for an Eagles rookie behind Don Looney (180 on 12/1/40 at Was.) and Hank Baskett (177 on 12/31/06 vs. Atl.)
COLLEGE:
- A two-time first-team All American, scored a school record 33 TDs in 28 games (22 receiving, six rushing, three punt returns, two kickoff returns). He was the 1st player in school history to score via all four methods
- Amassed 5,609 all-purpose yards (2,315 receiving; 668 rushing; 577 on punt returns; 2,049 on kickoff returns) in his two-year ca- reer, joining Derek Abney of Kentucky (2000-03) as the only play- ers in college history to gain more than 2,000 yards via both receiving and kickoff returns in a career
- His 22 career TD receptions are a school record
- Earned first-team All-America honors in 2007, becoming the first freshman in school history to do so, after starting 12 games and setting the NCAA freshman single-season record with 2,776 all- purpose yards
- Started all 14 games as a sophomore and led the nation with a school single-season record 2,833 all-purpose yards, which is the 5th-highest total in NCAA history. He set school single-season records with 102 receptions and 1,260 yards, adding 13 TDs. Former Eagle Victor Bailey previously held the yardage record with 1,210 in 1992.
- Also racked up 293 rushing yards and two touchdowns; 270 punt return yards and one touchdown; and 1,010 kickoff returns and one TD as a sophomore
- His 1,346 total return yards in 2007 (307 on punts; 1,039 on kick- offs) was two shy of the NCAA single-season record of 1,348, gained by Derek Abney of Kentucky in 2002
- Finished 2nd on the team with 80 receptions, gaining 1,055 yards and nine TDs as a freshman in 2007. Also racked up 375 rushing yards and four TDs, 307 punt return yards and two TDs, and 1,039 kickoff return yards and one TD
- Was granted a medical hardship in 2006 after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee while working out prior to the start of August camp
PERSONAL:
- Resides in South Jersey
- Has his own charity named “J-Mac Gives Back”
- Annually provides kids in the Kirkwood-Meacham Park Area with a backpack full of school year essentials. In 2012, J-Mac’s Back To School Packs provided underprivileged families with school supplies back in his hometown
- Began playing football at the age of nine as a running back, defensive end and linebacker for the Kirkwood (MO) Cowboys. Scored 32 TDs in his first season and helped his team to a 72-3 record over four seasons, including a national championship at the age of 11 when they beat a team from Tucker, GA, in Florida
- Attended Kirkwood HS, where he was considered the top wide receiver and one of the top overall prospects to come out of the state of Missouri in 2006. Maclin scored 55 career touchdowns in HS as a receiver, defensive back and return specialist
- Also starred in basketball at Kirkwood, earning honorable mention All-State and first-team All-Conference as a junior guard, averaging 13.3 points, 5.2 assists and 4.1 steals per game. Chose to pursue football in college because of his love for the game. “Football was the sport that I loved. I woke up every day and couldn’t imagine not playing football.”
- Created two annual scholarships: the Jeremy Maclin Football Endowment at the University of Missouri as well as the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Jeremy Maclin Scholarship
- In 2012, partnered with the Delaware Valley chapter of the National Adoption Center to bring adopted children and their families to a home game as well as a meet and greet with Jeremy afterwards
