Mizzou Spirit Spotlight: Kristen Morton

Mizzou Golden Girl Kristen Morton is just a freshman, but she has phenomenally genuine school spirit. She comes to Mizzou by way of O’Fallon, Ill., as a nursing major.

She says the choice of going to Mizzou was “perfect” for her. She wanted to go to a reputable, well-known school and be in a place that had a great college environment like Columbia.

Dance is Kristen’s passion, so she knew that being a Golden Girl would be a perfect fit for her.

Her favorite part of game day is the pregame singing of Old Missouri and seeing the crowd singing and swaying to the song. Her favorite single experience so far has been the Homecoming tradition, where she got to see the stands at The ZOU packed with fans wearing Missouri Tiger gold.
