Mizzou Spirit Spotlight: Heather Hopkins

Heather Hopkins is a senior education major who comes to Mizzou by way of Raymore, Mo. Her educational vision is to be able to teach high school English.

Hopkins follows in her mother’s footsteps in going to Mizzou, and she was raised watching Mizzou football and basketball games. She cheered for two years in high school, so she knew that following that path would be comfortable for her.

Her favorite part about game day is how excited everyone gets before the game; even on a Friday everyone is set up doing things and ready to go. Her favorite single memory is from her freshman year when Mizzou beat Oklahoma.
