Mizzou Spirit Spotlight: Ariel Montgomery

Ariel Montgomery loves the tradition at Mizzou, and the fact that it’s not just the school’s students and alumni that get excited about the Tigers, but the Columbia community at large.

Ariel comes to Columbia out of Chicago as a health-science major. Her dedication to training is the passion that drives her as a leader on the cheerleading squad.

With so many things going on at Mizzou, she knew after making a visit that this was the right school for her. This coupled with the fact that she was getting a great learning experience made it an easy choice.

When it comes to her favorite parts of the Mizzou football experience, the pregame ceremony is tops in her book. And as far as memories go, the Homecoming game against Oklahoma her freshman year stands out as number one in that department.
