Mizzou Football Song of the Week: Michael Sam

Two-time SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week Michael Sam needs to get himself pumped to take down quarterbacks and stuff running backs at the line of scrimmage. He does that by blasting Seven Nation Army by Glitch Mob before every game.

Sam has been the leader of the Tiger’s dominant defensive line so far this season, which is first in the SEC East with 15 sacks. He has been on fire in the last two games, racking up three sacks in each contest. His six sacks on the season are the best in the SEC and the fourth highest total in the nation.

Sam’s outstanding performance has landed him on the watch list for the Bednarik Award, which is given to college football’s top defensive player.
