Mizzou Football Nike Uniform Combination: October 25
“WE ARE MIZZOU”
“WE CAN’T BE STOPPED”
“WE WON’T BE STOPPED”
You’ll hear these enthusiastic chants this Saturday, October 25 in The ZOU as the Mizzou Football family takes on Vanderbilt in an all-new look.
Markus Golden, Braylon Webb, Bud Sasser and Mitch Morse will walk to the 50-yard line in all grey Nike uniforms for the coin toss before the kickoff of Mizzou’s 103rd Homecoming celebration.
This past August, the Mizzou Football seniors got together to brainstorm the uniform combinations for every game of the season. While Mizzou Nation will be decked out in black and gold for the Tiger Stripe for this weekend’s game, Golden and the other seniors chose the new anthracite grey look to give the fans something fresh to see on the field.
Mizzou will be decked out in the matte black helmet with the gold tiger head, the team’s alternate helmet, for the first time in 2014.
“We got the grey on grey this week,” says Golden. “We’re going to be looking fly out there for the fans. I can’t wait for everybody to see it. It’s just a different swag to Mizzou.”
No matter what the Tigers are wearing, though, what they truly care about inside is whom they are playing for.
“It’s a family environment,” says Golden. “You’re playing for your brothers. You’re playing for your coaches. You’re playing for the fans. We got great fans. On game day, it will be crazy.”
Check out Mizzou Football’s all-anthracite uniforms in person or on the SEC Network this Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 3 p.m. CT. Fans can follow Mizzou Football on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and listen in via Tiger Network radio affiliates for updates throughout the game.
