Mizzou Football Nike Uniform Combination: November 22
Mizzou Football will take the field in Knoxville in white anthracite jerseys with tiger-stripe accents and gold lightweight pants. The fierce combination will be topped off with the glossy black helmet with the traditional oval tiger head logo.
“The white and gold uniforms show we mean business,” said senior wide receiver Darius White. “I like the gold pants because it brings out our Mizzou colors.”
Bringing out the Mizzou colors is exactly what Nike did in the 2012 uniform revamp. Nike created a unified gold so that the uniforms throughout all Mizzou sports were the same bold color. They also added anthracite gray into the mix, which has excited players and fans alike.
“I really like Nike because I think it is the best,” said White. “Nike is the way to go.”
Each year at the beginning of the season, the seniors sit down and decide what Nike uniform combination they will wear for each game. With numerous uniform combinations, they have the freedom to be creative with their gear to hype up the players and the fans. Every game day, the Tigers come out in a new high-performance uniform combination, ready to take on their next competitor.
Mizzou Football will be looking sharp as always this Saturday, November 22 when they take on Tennessee in Knoxville. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on ESPN. Fans can follow Mizzou Football on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and listen in via Tiger Network radio affiliates for updates throughout the game.
