More that 600 schools are joining together to tackle Duchenne this week. The Missouri coaches will wear “Coach to Cure MD” patches on the sidelines this weekend to raise awareness and funding for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research.
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is the most common fatal genetic disorder among boys worldwide. The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) program is in its sixth year and has surpassed the million-dollar mark for donations.
