Gary Pinkel Visits St. Louis High Schools in Black and Gold Helicopter
The black and gold helicopter screams MIZZOU as its blades lift it with a roar. On his latest stop across the state, Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel is off on a rock star helicopter to St. Louis to visit area high schools.
The video shows Pinkel departing in the low afternoon sun. He is clearly excited, snapping photos of takeoff and cruising over the classic Missouri landscape before gliding over the Arch and into St. Louis.
Pinkel visited St. Louis University High School, the alma mater of Tiger freshman Alec Abeln. Abeln played both left tackle and center for University, where he was selected first team All-State by the Associated Press and All-Metro honors from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The helicopter lands after dark beside the high school football field, which is lit up for game night. The bright stadium lights glisten in the Missouri night as Pinkel steps off the helicopter, thanks his pilot and goes to watch some football.
