Coach Pinkel to Speak at Nike Coach of the Year Clinic

Mizzou Football Head Coach Gary Pinkel will speak at the 2015 Nike Coach of Year Clinic, taking place February 20-22 in Chicago.

Coach Pinkel will speak at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, February 22 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Pinkel will talk about the foundations of the Mizzou Football program and the development of Mizzou’s SEC-leading red zone offense.

The Nike Coach of the Year clinics are an opportunity for high school and youth football coaches to learn from high-profile coaches and players all over the country. Nearly 13,000 high school coaches attended the 17 clinics last year, allowing them to participate in coaching demonstrations, one-on-one sessions with legendary coaches, and learn philosophy, pointers, and strategy. Pinkel is one of several featured speakers for the Chicago clinic, and the weekend’s featured speaker will be 1985 Heisman Trophy winner Bo Jackson, a duel-threat athlete who played professional football and baseball.
